THE CAPTAINS
These Captains are a tight-knit crew of Maryland watermen and seasoned boat handlers who compete in one of the wildest niche sports on the East Coast: extreme boat docking. Born on the Chesapeake Bay, this group blends tradition, grit, and pure adrenaline as they slam throttles, spin on a dime, and thread massive workboats into tiny slips at full speed. They’re hometown heroes, generational fishermen, and blue-collar showmen who bring crowds to their feet every summer. What started as dockside bragging rights has become a full-blown cultural phenomenon—part sport, part spectacle, all Bay pride.
