Danny Haddaway captains Hard to Handle, a 31-foot boat powered by a 480 Cummins engine. Since joining the boat docking world in 2010, Danny has become a fan favorite, known for his impressive rope throws, competitive spirit, and for hosting the biggest party boat—and cooler—on the Bay. Danny started boat docking for the thrill, the fun, and, of course, the prize money.

While he’s always up for a fierce competition, his primary goal is to have a good time and ensure his fellow captains are enjoying themselves too. In the off-season, Danny stays on the water doing commercial crabbing, oystering, and fishing, or heads into the field for some hunting. His love for adventure, camaraderie, and the dockside lifestyle makes him a standout in the sport.
